HIVE Short Film Days is a new short film festival launched in Berlin, built around the values of openness, diversity, and artistic experimentation. Its inaugural edition brought together filmmakers, collectives, and audiences to explore stories from across borders and formats.
The visual identity was inspired by the structure of beehives — a natural metaphor for collectivity, modularity, and motion. 3D shapes based on hexagonal forms were developed as graphic anchors and appeared throughout the system, from posters to signage. The typography was kept bold yet minimal, creating space for these abstract forms to breathe.
This project was selected for Graphic Fest 2 by Victionary Publishing, featuring a curated international collection of experimental graphic design projects.
