This project explores the mycorrhizal network—a fungal system that connects trees through their roots. It allows them to share nutrients and information, and plays a key role in the health of forests.
The idea came after reading this article by the New York Times, which explains how trees communicate underground. I wanted to turn this into a visual study.
Using Cinema 4D, I created a series of animated posters that try to reflect the movement, complexity and quiet structure of these networks. The full series is available on Behance.
Software: Cinema 4D and Adobe Photoshop
